Arendelle: The World of Frozen
Upon arrival in Arendelle: The World of Frozen, guests will be greeted with celebratory banners inviting them to come celebrate Summer Snow Day, a celebration created by Elsa and Anna commemorating the day Anna bravely saved her sister Elsa from the ruthless Prince Hans with her true love.
Just steps inside the village, guests will discover the dazzling Friendship Fountain—frozen into a flurry of shimmering snowflakes by Elsa’s magical ice powers. This enchanting landmark makes for a must-snap photo spot for anyone looking to capture the magic of their Arendelle adventure.
As guests make their way through the immersive Arendelle village, they are welcomed by the friendly citizens of Arendelle. The Royal Arendellian Conjuror and talented Royal Arendellian Troubadours perform well-known songs from the Frozen films.
Keep an eye out for the ever-jolly Oaken from Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post and Sauna! He’s often seen around Arendelle, joining other cheerful villagers as they get ready for the festive Summer Snow Day celebration.
Within Arendelle’s borders, you’ll find the towering North Mountain, the location of the mesmerising ice palace where Elsa first harnessed her icy powers. Below the mountain sits Arendelle Castle, the regal abode of the royal family.
The highly detailed village features many nods to the events of the film – eagle-eyed guests will even find the fishing boat on the Bay of Arendelle that carried Anna on her fateful encounter with Hans.
Against the colourful collection of steep-roofed buildings of Arendelle Villages, guests can enjoy stunning views of Arendelle Castle, the lush Arendelle Forest, and Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs zipping around the mountain across the Bay of Arendelle, providing a great kinetic energy to the area.
Fans of the Frozen films will be excited to see many familiar locations featured within the films, including the Clock Tower, featured in the “Love Is An Open Door” sequence where Anna dances with Prince Hans. The clock tower features traditionally carved depictions of Elsa and Anna.
Set against the stunning mountainesque backdrop of Lantau Island’s natural landscape, Arendelle: The World of Frozen is inspired by the real-life nature, arts, culture, and architecture of Norway. The land features a high level of detailed theming, with many hidden nods to characters and events from the first two films.
Walt Disney Imagineering worked closely with Walt Disney Animation Studios to accurately portray the world of Frozen, with attention paid to every detail, down to the different forms of ice and snow on show.
The Norwegian-inspired area is rich in elements of Norwegian culture, including landscapes, and architectural design, including the “Dragestil” (dragon style) architectural style, Bellstrand’s asymmetrical architecture, and rose-melting flower paintings. Eagle-eyed fans will discover the golden crocus flower from the kingdom’s official crest incorporated into designs throughout Arendelle.
Walt Disney Imagineering has brought back award-winning composer, Andrew Cottee, to rearrange the iconic music from the movies for World of Frozen. Extended versions of familiar songs from the Frozen films will play throughout the different locations of the land, further immersing guests into the story.
While Arendelle is beautiful during the day, the area is truly stunning once the sun sets with glittering ice and snow, Elsa’s Ice Palace sitting atop the North Mountain, and the enchanted Friendship Fountain, which glows in sync with the orchestral music of the land.
Attractions
Arendelle: The World of Frozen will feature two state-of-the-art attractions: Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs; the first Frozen-themed family coaster, and Frozen Ever After, which invites guests on a magical journey to visit Elsa’s ice palace.
Frozen Ever After
Frozen Ever After is a song-filled boat ride that takes guests on an adventurous journey through the kingdom of Arendelle during the “Official Summer Snow Day Celebration”. The ride features the award-winning music from the first film and features appearances by Anna, Elsa Kristoff, Sven and of course, Olaf. The 6-minute ride is an enhanced version of the popular Frozen attraction at Walt Disney World.
Before taking off on their adventures, guests will travel through the castle’s ice storage, run by ice master, Kristoff. The highly detailed queue is decorated with props, and artifacts including sleds, snowshoes, and framed portraits of Kristoff and his reindeer companion Sven.
As guests progress through the queue they will find themselves on the Royal Dock, surrounded by festive lights, bunting, and shimmering icicles, accompanied by lively renditions of popular Frozen tunes from the town’s chamber folk group.
Next, guests will go on a journey to the North Mountain where Elsa’s Ice Palace awaits. Upon leaving the harbor, you’ll first meet Frozen friends Olaf and Sven singing a rendition of “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” in a snowy forest under an ice crystal tree created by Elsa.
Along the way, guests will encounter many fantastical creatures from the world of Frozen, including Kristoff’s family of boulder trolls, and Marshmallow the snowman accompanied by his cutie Snowgies.
The attraction features the most technologically advanced Audio-Animatronics figures ever at Hong Kong Disneyland. While EPCOT’s attraction features animatronics with projected faces, this enhanced version of the ride features impressive state-of-the-art, fully electric audio-animatronics with fully realized facial features.

Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs
To mark the festive spirit of Summer Snow Day, Oaken has built a whimsical family-friendly carnival coaster behind his Trading Post – Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. This lively ride zips through the rugged terrain of Arendelle Forest, offering a wild and wintry adventure. Keep an eye out in the queue – you might just spot Oaken himself unwinding in his sauna!
The Playhouse in the Woods
At The Playhouse in the Woods, nestled deep in Arendelle Forest, guests are joined by Anna and Elsa and witness Elsa’s ice magic firsthand. Disney promises a unique interactive play experience within the playhouse complete with detailed theming and special effects.
While you’re exploring the Arendelle Forest, be sure to look out for Bruni the fire spirit salamander from Frozen 2. Eagle-eyed guests can find him hidden throughout the area!
Merchandise
Guests seeking out that perfect souvenir to commemorate their trip to Arendelle can head to Tock Toys & Collectibles, recognizable by its classic rocking horse blade sign. Located at the exit to Frozen Ever After, the charming store offers a wide range of Frozen merchandise, with many items exclusive to Hong Kong Disneyland.

The store offers a range of clothing and accessories including socks, hoodies, comfy cardigans, and knitted sweaters. Guests can also pick up adorable plush headbands, including a customisable band allowing guests to choose their favourite Frozen characters.

Food and Beverage
During your visit to Arendelle don’t miss the opportunity to explore the charming shops and enjoy the flavours of local dishes inspired by traditional Scandinavian fare at the Golden Crocus Inn or grab a quick meal at the Forest Fair.
Inside the highly detailed eatery, guests will find portraits of the royal family adorning the walls, which has been expanded to include the loveable Olaf, Sven and Kristoff!
The Golden Crocus Inn dishes up a hearty lineup of Scandinavian-inspired fare, from the Innkeeper’s Special Braised Lamb Shank with velvety potato purée and roasted vegetables to the flavorful Royal Chicken Roll. Vegetarians can indulge in the Forest Mushroom Strozzapreti, served in a decadent truffle cream sauce.
Craving something sweet? Head to Northern Delights, named after Arendelle’s magical Northern Lights. Here, you’ll find a tempting array of Frozen-inspired desserts, and the best part? You can watch talented cast members craft delicious treats right before your eyes!

Guests can continue their Summer Snow Day celebration at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel when they can choose to stay in Royal Arendellian style in the magical Kingdom Club Frozen Suites, which offer a number of Frozen-themed offerings.

Step into the world of Anna and Elsa as you open the door to the Frozen Suite. Be immersed in a picturesque winter landscape, where you can hop aboard a sofa designed after Kristoff’s sleigh, while young Guests are invited to play with a large Olaf plush toy in a cozy play corner.
