Disney Parks has announced that an all-new Spider-Man land and roller-coaster is coming to Shanghai Disneyland! Chairperson of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Josh D’Amaro announced the new attraction at Disney’s action-packed D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, California on August 10th. An opening date for the attraction has yet to be announced.
Disney Parks Blog has released concept art for the new high-tech attraction. On the yet-unnamed thrilling new coaster, guests will join Peter Parker in a high-stakes adventure where Spider-Man finds himself — and us — in a precarious situation. Riders will experience high-speed twists and turns, working alongside Spider-Man to escape the clutches of his foes.
The attraction was announced at this year’s D23 Experiences Showcase. Explorer Chris was lucky enough to attend the much-anticipated event and snapped these great shots!
