Legoland Japan has announced its new Christmas event, BricXmas. Running November 16, 2017, to January 8, 2018, the event promises new Lego decorations, Christmas-themed entertainment, and festive treats.
Legoland’s first Christmas will include a new “Christmas Village” complete with 10m Christmas Trees made from 610,000 Lego blocks! Guest can also pose for photos in a special Santa Claus & Reindeer photo spot made from 250,000 bricks.
The park is introducing a special show called “Ringing, Friendship, Party”. The show lets guests join Legoland’s mascots, Buddy and Rebecca, and Santa Claus to ring the Christmas bells and light the tree. The park’s “Smile Connection” show will also receive a festive update with Santa joining the lineup of characters.
The Christmas Village will host a Christmas Market offering a choice of special festive food and drink. New treats include a roast chicken dinner, Christmas chocolate roll, marshmallow hot chocolate, and child-friendly Christmas beer and wine!
The BricXmas event follows on from Legoland Japan’s Brick-or-Treat Halloween early this year. Whether there will be a new seasonal event next year remains to be seen, but let us know your Lego-themed event puns in the comments, on Twitter or Facebook.
