Tokyo Disney Resort is known for its popcorn and variety of flavours. In order to carry all that delicious popcorn, you’ll need something to hold it in. Well, Tokyo Disney Resort offers a range of popcorn buckets and come out with new ones every so often.
In the past few months, we have seen a “new” Cinderella — I put that in quotes because it’s a design from the US Parks — and a Lightning McQueen bucket. Normally, popcorn buckets don’t excite me but a new one just came out at Tokyo DisneySea and it’s quite fantastic.
Buzz Lightyear Popcorn Bucket
Now, at Tokyo DisneySea, you’re able to pick up an awesome Buzz Lightyear Popcorn bucket for ¥2,300 ($21USD). The whole idea of carrying Buzz Lightyear around in his packaging is brilliant.
While I don’t buy these often (I do have a 25th Anniversary Chip ‘n’ Dale one from Nakano Broadway, however), I think I’ll make an exception for this one. Once I pick this up, I’ll report back and let you know how it is!
Current Popcorn Buckets
I’ll let you in on a little trick. We do our monthly merchandise updates that do include brand new popcorn buckets, but what about checking what’s available now?
The official Tokyo Disney Resort website keeps a list of current buckets (with pictures) for both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. Even though it’s only in Japanese, the pictures are simple to understand and you can show a Cast Member the photos and they’ll help you out. Also, the site has text you’re able to translate with Google Translate.
So, how bad do you want this popcorn bucket? I think I’ll head there this weekend and pick it up!
