Celebrate 30 Years of Toy Story with Japan’s Limited Baseball Team Collaboration

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Toy Story, Japan’s Central and Pacific League baseball teams have released the Toy Story Baseball Collection, featuring Woody and Buzz Lightyear in Japan- exclusive artwork styled in the team colours of Japan’s 12 professional baseball teams, combining Pixar magic with Japanese baseball pride.

If you’re in Japan during baseball season, don’t miss the chance to attend a game—they’re lively, full of energy, and unlike anything else! Known locally as yakyū, Japanese baseball emphasises sportsmanship and discipline. Each team has dedicated “ouendan” (cheering squads) with drums, trumpets, and chants that correspond to every player. Fans don’t just watch—they participate!

The line features T-shirts, hand towels, tote bags, and acrylic key chains inspired by teams from both the Central and Pacific Leagues; Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, Saitama Seibu Lions, Chiba Lotte Marines, Yomiuri Giants, Tokyo Yakult Swallows, Yokohama DeNA Baystars, Chunichi Dragons, Hanshin Tigers, Orix Buffaloes, Hiroshima Toyo Carp, and Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks.

The products will be available exclusively at official team stores and select retailers. Availability may vary by team and location, and some items may not be sold at all official team stores.
