Donald Duck turns 92 this year! First appearing in the 1934 short The Wise Little Hen, the feisty Disney duck has become an absolute icon, and a fan favourite. To celebrate the special ocassion, Disney Store Japan has released an adorable new batch of Donald Duck birthday merchandise.
The collection features newly drawn artwork showcasing a lounging Donald with big, expressive eyes, all in refreshing summer colors. Chip and Dale even make an appearance, perched upon Donald. The line up includes a range of adorable plush toys and keychains, including a super-sized plush toy available exclusively at select stores.
The collection also features a range of handy items, including stationery, and a range of home goods, including chair mats, room lights and cooling blankets – perfect for the upcoming summer season. There’s also a range of wearables inspired by Donald, including a denim shirt with an eye-catching back design of Donald, alongside a reversible hat and striped socks. There’s also a range of bags, including classic tote bags, alongside a bag in the shape of Donald’s face.
The Donald Duck Birthday collection is available now at Disney Stores in Japan, and the online store.
