Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is celebrating Pixar like never before with the debut of the all-new Pixar Summer Fest, running now through August 31, 2026. The limited-time seasonal event brings characters, entertainment, food, merchandise, and themed hotel activities inspired by beloved Pixar Animation Studios films across the resort from morning through to night.
Entertainment
The summer celebration introduces new entertainment alongside returning guest favourites, transforming the resort into a vibrant Pixar-inspired destination featuring stories and characters from films including Toy Story, Inside Out, The Incredibles, Up, Turning Red, Coco, and Brave.
Pixar Water Play Street Party!
One of the highlights of the season is the new Pixar Water Play Street Party! The lively daytime offering transforms the parade route into a playful, water-filled street party featuring Pixar characters aboard themed floats. Guests can dance along to energetic music, join in interactive moments, and cool off in splash zones throughout the parade route.
Guests wanting a guaranteed viewing location can purchase a Disney Premier Access for Pixar Water Play Street Party!, with prices starting from HK$99. The add-on provides access to a designated viewing area where guests can enjoy up-close interactions with their favourite Pixar characters.
The resort has also introduced a new Disney Premier Access option for Pixar-themed floats during the daytime “Friendtastic!” parade. Guests purchasing the pass (HK$ 99) can access a dedicated viewing area during a special parade stop featuring Pixar characters.
Pixar Pals Spectacular
As the sun sets, the celebration continues with the debut of Pixar Pals Spectacular, a new nighttime entertainment offering designed to light up the park just before Momentous. Lighting up the night sky from the Castle of Magical Dreams to Main Street, U.S.A, the 8-minute Pixar-filled pre show features music, and visuals inspired by Pixar films, focusing on themes of friendship and connection.
Pixar Pals Spectacular replaces the 20th anniversary drone pre-show that debuted last year.
Pixar Character Greetings
Guests will encounter Pixar characters throughout the park during the event, with interactive experiences offered across multiple lands. Guests can meet beloved Pixar characters including the Toy Story gang, Merida from Brave, Miguel from Coco, and Mei from Turning Red.
Animation Academy
The Animation Academy has introduced a new Pixar-themed drawing programme where guests can learn to draw their favourite Pixar characters. Disney Premier Access is also available for priority admission to the Animation Academy, allowing guests to skip the queue before participating in the drawing session and then meeting Pixar characters nearby.
Merchandise
Hong Kong Disneyland has also offered a first look at the merchandise coming to Pixar Summer Fest, featuring a strong lineup of Toy Story items, including some designs already seen in U.S. parks. The colourful collection features many wearable items, perfect for coordinating looks while at the park.
New merchandise collections will feature Pixar Ball-inspired designs and Toy Story-themed items, including headbands, plush, stationery, and apparel. There’s also a variety of cute plush toys available.
The resort will also launch a new version of the interactive “Magic Passport” themed to Pixar Summer Fest. There will also be a range of mystery item collectibles, including a range of Pixar pin badges
Food and Drink
Pixar-inspired food and beverage offerings will be available across the resort, including themed sweets, soft serve, and interactive dining experiences. Guests can look forward to Instagram-ready desserts inspired by popular characters, alongside popcorn buckets inspired by Slinky Dog and Green Alien Men.
At the Main Street Corner Cafe, guests can book the “Pixar Dine & Play Party,” featuring menu items including the “Alien DIY Pizza” and “Slinky Dog Roll.” The interactive dining experience also includes Pixar-themed activities for guests.
Guests can also enjoy speciality desserts, treats and drinks inspired by popular Pixar properties.
Disney Premier Access Package
Guests looking to maximise their day can also purchase a new Disney Premier Access package that combines reserved viewing for both Pixar Pals Spectacular and Momentous with priority access to some of the resort’s most popular attractions.

Upcoming Pixar Experiences
Toy Story Land at Hong Kong Disneyland will also see an expansion next year, with construction already underway on an all-new Pixar entertainment offering. While little has been announced, the upcoming addition will blend physical sets with digital environments, inviting guests to journey alongside familiar Pixar characters in a story driven celebration of play, imagination, and friendship.
