Celebrate Pokémon’s 30th with a Grand Adventure at Grand Hyatt Tokyo

Pokémon fans, your summer just got a whole lot more exciting! Grand Hyatt Tokyo is offering a limited-time accommodation plan to mark the 30th anniversary of the iconic franchise. The “Pokémon 30th Anniversary Collaboration Grand Adventure” lets guests immerse themselves in a Pokémon world like never before, with adventure-themed rooms, themed meals, and exclusive merchandise.

The Pokémon hotel experience will be offered for a limited time from June 20 to August 26, 2026.

Grand Adventure Suite Stay

For the ultimate Pokémon experience, the Grand Adventure Suite Stay, limited to just one room per day, transforms the 120sqm Chairman Suite into a lush green playground. Guests entering the room are greeted by thirty Pikachu decorations, including one setting off on an adventure with balloons.

Pokémon from the original Red and Green games are scattered throughout, with areas inspired by grass, fire, and water types. Bulbasaur and Tangela bring greenery to the living room, Charmander and Vulpix brighten the bedroom with fiery warmth, while Squirtle and Lapras make a splash in the bathroom.

Grand Adventure Stay

If a full suite is more than needed, the Grand Adventure Stay room offers eight rooms per day decorated with Pikachu and Pokémon from Red and Green, including Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Pikachu. The twin rooms feature breakfast at The French Kitchen with Flying Pikachu Pancakes.

Pokémon-Inspired Eats

Guests can also enjoy a range of original food and drink options inspired by the world of Pokémon. A highlight is the “Flying Pikachu Gourmet Burger Set” featuring a yellow-themed burger, ketchup-based sauce, curry fries, corn soup, and Pikachu yellow soda.

Guests can kick off their day with a special in-room Pokémon breakfast featuring fluffy Flying Pikachu Pancakes stamped with the balloon Pikachu design, served with fresh fruits.

For those after a sweet treat, the Pokémon 30th Anniversary Mango Cake is sure to hit the spot! The extravagant cake features mango slices shaped like rose petals and chocolate Pikachu silhouettes.

At the Italian cafe “Fiorentina,” guests will be able to enjoy a refreshing parfait inspired by Pikachu’s balloon adventure featured within the room. It also comes with an original Pokémon-designed placemat.

Guests will also be able to pick up a sweet assortment of cookies and chocolates packed in a trunk-style case, paired with a tote bag featuring the collaboration logo, making it perfect as a gift for children and adults alike. The packaging features Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charmander, alongside Pikachu and Eevee.

The hotel will also be offering a special version of its popular baton-shaped chocolate, “Baton Chocolat,” to commemorate the collaboration. The Baton Chocolat, decorated to resemble Poké Balls, Pikachu, and various Grass, Fire, and Water-type Pokémon, and also comes with the collaboration tote bag.

Original Pokémon Merchandise

The suite stay accomodation plan also includes exclusive 30th-anniversary merchandise, such as a talking, palm-sized Pikachu figure, plush Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle, a passport case, polo shirt, outdoor lamp, and adventure-themed cushions.

The standard room accomodation plans also comes with original Pokémon 30th-anniversary goods including a T-shirt, hat, tote bag, and passport case.
