Tokyo Disneyland’s new castle projection show debuts on July 10, 2018, and celebrates 35 years of the park’s characters and attractions.
To mark Tokyo Disney Resort’s 35th Anniversary, “Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland” will use new water cannons, music, pyrotechnics, and projection technology to take guests on a tour of Disneyland.
Mickey Mouse will open the show by conducting music which magically conjures up scenes from Pirates of the Caribbean, it’s a small world and Big Thunder Mountain. The artwork on the special Disney Resort Line ticket even features the Country Bears!
“Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland” will run for 20 minutes, with one or two performances each evening.
A lottery system will be used to distribute tickets to the main viewing area in front of the castle. Guests enter the lottery at the machines in Tomorrowland.
To mark the debut of “Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland” 45 merchandise items will go on sale on July 10, just before the show starts on July 10. For more merchandise inspiration, read our 35th Anniversary merchandise guide.
