New “Club Mouse Beat” Show Coming to Tokyo Disneyland

There was a lot of speculation on what was happening with the Showbase after its permanent show “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On” after that show ended in December 2019. Also, the short-lived “It’s Very Minnie” show ended early due to the Park closure back in 2020. A brand new show titled “Club Mouse Beat” debuts on July 2, 2021, at Tokyo Disneyland!

I love surprises, who doesn’t, so this news has made my day. Since no summer events are happening again this year, I’ll take it!

Here’s what we know about the new “Club Mouse Beat” show at Tokyo Disneyland.

Club Mouse Beat

Club Mouse Beat

The show is set in a popular club called “Club Mouse,” which is reminiscent of the “Club Disney Super Dance Mania” event at Tokyo Disneyland from 2000. Mickey and Friends show off their dance moves on stage to the beats of hip-hop, Latin, and pop.

A few notable characters include Lightning McQueen from Cars along with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Zootopia. There are also a few villains who’ll make appearances too.

You’ll have to use the “Entry Request” system through the Tokyo Disney Resort app to watch the performance. This is the same lottery-type system used for the new Beauty and the Beast ride.

In addition to the Showbase show, there’s also a Greeting Parade along the parade route once a day! This is for a limited time from July 2 through September 13, 2021.

  • Title: Club Mouse Beat
  • Where: Showbase
  • Duration: About 25 minutes
  • Performances: 4 to 5 daily
  • Disney Characters: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Chip n Dale, Max, Lightning McQueen, Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and others (not listed in the press release)

Club Mouse Beat Merchandise

It’s not a new show without brand new merchandise. Well, of course, there are new items available starting July 1, 2021! All items are available inside Tokyo Disneyland, and you’ll need the Standby Pass to enter the shop.

Between July 1 and 3, these items aren’t available inside Bon Voyage. Based on the wording, it sounds like they’ll be in Bon Voyage afterwards.

Pro tip: Convert Japanese Yen prices into US dollars by dropping the last two digits in the price in yen. That’s roughly how much it is in US dollars (give or take a few dollars). Example: ¥2,000 (or sometimes written 2,000円) is about US$20.

Club Mouse Beat Snack Menu

Between July 1 and September 13, 2021, there’s a drink and drink coaster you’re able to get!
