Disney’s first official a cappella group, DCappella is set to tour Japan for the first time in 3 years, entertaining guests with famous Disney songs with just the voice. The tour is one of many Disney concerts scheduled to tour Japan in 2022, along with Disney On Classic, Tokyo DisneySea 20th Anniversary: Time to Shine! In Concert, and the jazz-themed Disney World Beat.
DCappella, named by mixing Disney’s “D” and a cappella, is an a cappella group formed in 2012 following a US national search run by Disney Music Group. The 7 member group reimagines popular Disney songs with voice-only arrangements, featuring complex harmonies.
DCappella will be performed across 7 cities, nationwide with the tour kicking off at Tokyu Theater Orb in Tokyo. The concert tour will feature songs including “Into the Unknown” from “Frozen 2”, “Part of Your World” From “Little Mermaid” and “Friend Like Me” from “Aladdin”.
Tickets are currently on pre-sale until April 5, 2022, (Tuesday). VIP packages are available featuring VIP limited original goods and merchandise.
