Detective Conan is returning to Universal Studios Japan as part of Cool Japan 2022! Next year will see the full return of the annual Cool Japan event from March 4 to August 28, 2022.
Four Detective Conan attractions are coming to Universal Studios Japan as part of the event! Conan joins the previously announced Monster Hunter and Hunter x Hunter attractions coming to the event.
Universal has promised that five Japanese IPs will be part of Cool Japan 2022. Which other characters will be joining the event? Stay tuned to TDR Explorer for more announcements in the future!

Detective Conan: The Escape
An escape room based on Detective Conan is coming to Stage 18, located near the entrance of the park. Previous Detective Conan escape rooms at Universal have proven insanely popular, so you won’t want to miss this one!

Detective Conan Mystery Restaurant
Immerse yourself in the world of Detective Conan as Conan and his partners solve a crime right in front of your eyes! This elaborate dinner show will be held at the Lombard’s Landing restaurant.

Detective Conan x Hollywood Dream the Ride
Join Detective Conan and pals on a high speed chase through the city, all while riding Hollywood Dream the Ride! You can choose to listen to this limited-time audio before starting the ride. The current Demon Slayer audio track is scheduled to end in February 2022.
Detective Conan Mystery Challenge
Help Detective Conan solve a case that’ll take you around the park looking for clues! This game is free for guests, but may be only in Japanese. More details will be announced at a later date.
