To commemorate Disney’s 100th anniversary, a special screening of timeless Disney animation masterpieces will be held at 100 movie theaters nationwide.
Cinema Ikspiari will be the hub of the Disney 100 Film Festival from September 14th to October 15th and will feature wall art commemorating the event next to the “Disney Store” on the 2nd floor of Ikspiari. Guests can also take a photo of the “Disney 100 Mickey Statue”, the only one of its kind in Japan.
The Disney 100 Film Festival will feature eight animated Disney classics, including Frozen, Big Hero 6, Cinderella, Moana, The Little Mermaid, Zootopia, Rapunzel, and Fantasia. Screenings are scheduled for every Saturday and Sunday in October, with one film screened per day.
Each screening comes with a Disney 100 Film Festival Original Acrylic Stand as a collectible.
General admission tickets for the event are priced at ¥2,000 and will be on sale for all dates at once from September 25th (limited to 190 people for each screening). For information regarding screenings and ticketing information, visit the Ikspiari website.
