Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Adventure, has made a surprise stop in Tokyo while en route to its new homeport in Singapore ahead of its official maiden voyage on March 10, 2026.
The brief port call offered a rare chance to see the Disney Adventure up close before it begins regular sailings from Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore, where it will offer three and four night voyages. The cruise marks the first time a Disney ship will be homeported in Southeast Asia.
The vessel features seven themed areas inspired by Disney, Pixar and Marvel stories, alongside new entertainment, dining and attractions designed with the Asian market in mind. With capacity for around 6,700 guests, the Disney Adventure is the largest ship ever built for Disney Cruise Line.
The new cruise ship is part of a five year collaboration between the Singapore Tourism Board and Disney Cruise Line, first announced in March 2023. The latest addition to Disney Cruise Line, the Disney Adventure was originally scheduled to debut in December 2025, but construction delays pushed the inaugural sailing to March 2026.
