Disney Cruise Line has announced that the maiden voyage of the highly anticipated Disney Adventure, based out of Singapore will be delayed. Originally scheduled to set sail on December 15th, the ship’s first official sailing is now planned for March 10, 2026.
The delay was communicated to guests booked for the originally-scheduled December maiden voyage, and all guests scheduled to sail in early 2026. Disney Cruise Line has cited unexpected delays in the shipbuilding process, which saw a partially built vessel reimagined into a Disney cruise experience, advising more time was required to ensure every detail lives up to the Disney Cruise Line standard.
Impact on Booked Guests
Guests who were booked on the original maiden voyage will have their reservations automatically shifted to the new sailing date at a 50% discount on their voyage fare. Updated confirmation statements reflecting new sail date and discounted fare will be issued by October 8, 2025.
Passengers who are unable to sail on the new maiden voyage or other impacted voyages (from Dec. 15, 2025, to March 12, 2026) can request a full refund, plus a 50% discount on a future cruise provided it’s booked by March 31, 2026 for departure dates no later than March 31, 2027.
The future cruise discount will appear in Guest accounts by October 8, 2025. If booking a new cruise before this date, the discount won’t yet be visible but will be applied retroactively. Additional 2027 sailings for the Disney Adventure will open for booking in March 2026.

- Guests booked through a travel advisor should contact them directly.
- Those who booked with Disney Cruise Line can call the Contact Center or email dcl.reservations.apac@contact.disneycruiseline.com with their name and reservation number.
