Disney announced the opening of their flagship store in Tokyo, which features a sleek high-tech look, promises to be the ultimate destination for Disney merchandise in Japan!
Disney Flagship Tokyo
Tokyo Flagship Disney Store is set to open Sunday, December 5th, 2021. The new store is set to cover three stories of the Tokyo T & TⅢ Building in Shinjuku. With a total area of approximately 1,710㎡ it is set to be Japan’s largest Disney Store. Large LED panels throughout the store will transform the space with images of your favourite Disney movies.

In addition to the ever-popular staple Disney merchandise, we’ve come to expect from a Disney Store, the Flagship store is set to offer a wide product range of Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel products. In addition to Japan exclusive products, the store will carry select merchandise from international Disney Parks, starting from Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Collection.
During the period from December 5th (Sun) to December 25th (Sat), only those who have made a reservation using the store reservation app can enter the store. Disney Store Club Official Members have the chance to enter a lottery to access Priority Entry during the grand opening’s first day. Details such as reservation start date and time and items will be updated at a later date.

We recently visited the location of the new Disney Flagship Tokyo to scope out the area. As you can see from the photos, the store is set to be massive and sure to be a huge highlight of the Shinjuku shopping district.
The Disney Flagship Tokyo will also carry the popular D Made collection, offering a large range of custom-made customised products that were previously offered exclusively at Shop Disney. This is sure to be a big hit with fans.
In addition to the above products, to commemorate the opening of Disney Flagship Tokyo, the store will be selling a wristwatch jointly designed by the Swiss luxury mechanical wristwatch brand “Franck Muller” and the Disney Store. A lottery sales campaign will be used due to the expected high interest in the limited time watch,
