Disney Store Japan is celebrating Goofy’s birthday with a new line up of merchandise inspired by the many looks Goofy and Max have sported over the years, with a special focus on the cult classic “A Goofy Movie” which is celebrating it’s 30th anniversary.
The Goofy Birthday collection features a retro design and refreshing pastels featuring scenes and items from 1995’s A Goofy Movie and its 2000 sequel, An Extremely Goofy Movie. The lineup includes its perfect for summer outings including windbreakers, t-shirts, caps and picnic sheets. Special items include slippers worn by Goofy in the film, and a fishing figurine featured early in the film.
Additionally, Disney Store Japan’s exclusive Urupocha-chan collection will be expanded with new adorable plushies of Goofy, Max Roxanne and even Powerline! As a fan of the the film, it is great to see A Goofy Movie finally get it’s time in the sun with such cute merchandise!
The Goofy Birthday collection will be available at select Disney Store locations and the official Disney online store from Tuesday, May 6th followed by a wide-release on Friday, May 9th.
