Disney Store Japan is marking Bread Day on April 12 with a new collection themed around Mickey Mouse’s bakery. The range focuses on bakery-inspired items featuring Mickey and friends, recreated as soft merchandise with detailed finishes, including bread-like textures and golden-brown colouring that resembles freshly baked goods.
Plush keychains are a key part of the collection, with designs shaped like baguettes, toast, and pizza bread, alongside character versions featuring Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy in playful bakery scenes. Donald is shown mid-mishap, Mickey holds a croissant, and Goofy presents an large hot dog.
The range also includes home goods, such as a toast-inspired blanket with an attached plush and soft, pizza bread-shaped cushions. For something more practical, the tote bags and eco bags continue the theme with subtle character touches. Some can even be packed into croissant-shaped pouches.
The “Mickey’s Bakery” collection is available now at Disney Stores across Japan, and the online store.
