Tokyo Disney Resort is rolling out the third chapter of Disney Story Beyond, a limited-time event that brings new stories and immersive moments to Palazzo Canal in Mediterranean Harbor at Tokyo DisneySea. Running from 14 January to 19 March 2026, this instalment continues the series’ concept of expanding the park’s lore through original tales, videos, and themed items.

The story follows Carlo, a young man dreaming of becoming a gondolier. Guests will watch him grow as he learns from his fellow gondoliers and the townspeople, all while preparing for his debut at the carnival. This chapter features 20 stories. Seventeen will be available on the special website and the official Tokyo Disney Resort YouTube channel, while three are only revealed to those who explore the park in person.
Decorations
Guests visiting Tokyo DisneySea can continue Carlo’s story in person by exploring photo spots throughout Palazzo Canal, beautifully decorated for the occasion. The area will also feature special touches, including hearing in-story radio conversations at Biglieteri.

Limited Time Food
Ahead of the event, a themed food line-up launches on 26 December, with several dishes inspired by the new stories unfolding in Palazzo Canal. One highlight is chiacchere, a gondola-shaped crispy pastry filled with coffee-flavoured mascarpone cream, available at Gondolier Snacks and Cafe Portofino. In the story, Marta serves her chiacchere to Carlo and his friends, who suggest adding a sprinkle of coffee. The park’s version brings that moment to life.

Merchandise
Merchandise for Disney Story Beyond arrives ahead of the event on 13 January. The highlight this time is a line of carnival masks inspired by the masks designed by gondoliers Carlo and Domenico in the story. Each mask comes with decorative parts and ribbons so you can personalise it in your own style.

There are also blind-box bag charms and pouches featuring motifs from Palazzo Canal, including the Venetian Gondola, Ristorante di Canaletto and the Venetian Carnival Market. The charms can even be fitted with mini carnival masks so you can dress up your bag for a bit of extra flair.

The collection will be sold at the Venetian Carnival Market in the Mediterranean Harbor area.
