To celebrate Donald Duck’s 88th birthday, limited-time pop-up cafes featuring our favourite temper-challenged duck have opened across Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya. We popped into Oh My Cafe Tokyo to check out all the Donald-themed food and merchandise on offer!
OH MY CAFE is a line of Disney-owned cafes featuring a rotating roster of Disney-themed overlays, with previous themes including Star Wars, Chip’n’Dale, Zootopia, Alice in Wonderland and Winnie The Pooh.
The Tokyo cafe is located on 3F of Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku.
Donald Duck Cafe
Advance reservations are required to visit the Donald Duck Cafe. Bookings can be made through the official Oh My Cafe website until 15:00 the day before your visit. Reservations are ￥715 per person. OH MY CAFE Tokyo will feature the Donald Duck Cafe overlay until Monday, July 18, 2022.
The Donald Duck Cafe features summer-inspired meals and special drinks, perfect to cool off in the hot Japanese summer. In addition to fun food, the cafe offers a range of original Donald merchandise. The interior of the cafe features white and blue decor inspired by Donald Duck and his iconic marine look.
The Food
The menu at Donald Duck Cafe features dishes themed to Donald’s emotions – HAPPY! (Curry and Rice), ANGRY! (Tomato pasta plate) FUN! (Ukiwa Burget Plate), FUNNY! (Beak Chicken Sandwich Basket) , and LOVE ♡ (Bouquet yogurt). The cafe offers a number of themed drinks including a vanilla yoghurt smoothie, fisherman soda with orange peel fish, plus juices, iced tea and hot milk.

The Merchandise
Donald Duck Cafe offers a selection of original merchandise featuring Donald in his classic sailor suit. Merchandise includes acrylic key chains, cushions eco bags, stickers, fashion goods and more. Additionally, all visitors who come by advance reservation will receive an Uchiwa fan as a gift.
