Duffy & Friends ‘Wishing Wings’ Event and Merchandise at Tokyo DisneySea

This autumn, Tokyo DisneySea is celebrating the gentle spirit of friendship with a limited-time Duffy and Friends event titled ‘Wishing Wings‘. Guests can look forward to exclusive merchandise, seasonal sweats, hotel offerings and more. The Duffy & Friends ‘Wishing Wings’ event will be offered from Thursday, August 28th to Monday, November 3rd, 2025!

The Story

Cape Cod has a pleasant breeze. ShellieMay was looking up at the autumn sky, where birds were flying happily. Under this sky, Stella Lou is engrossed in practising her light-hearted dance moves. Maybe he’d tried a bit too hard, so he sighed and sat down on the tree stump. “I need to rest my feet for a bit…” Stella Lou, who wants to continue practising, looks a little disappointed.

Seeing this, ShellieMay calls out to Duffy and Gelatoni. “Let’s cheer up Stella Lou!” ShellieMay suddenly remembered the bird she had seen earlier. “That’s it! To be able to dance like you’re flying without jumping. Why don’t we make a bird dance costume?” They both totally agree!

We will create the wings that will serve as the base for ShellieMay using patchwork. Duffy uses the leaves he has collected to make a star shape and decorate it. Gelatoni also draws pictures of feathers.

When I presented her with the finished costume, Stella Lou’s eyes lit up. “Thank you! If I wear this, I might be able to dance gracefully as if I’m flying through the air, even when moving slowly!” Stella Lou was thrilled by everyone’s thoughtfulness and ideas. ShellieMay and her friends were also very happy.

Original Merchandise

The Wishing Wings merchandise collection features new plush costumes for Duffy, ShellieMay, Gelatoni, and StellaLou featuring wings, floral accents, and delicate ribbons. Other highlights include accessories perfect for accessorising for a day at the park, with wearable items like ShellieMay-ear caps and plush toys designed to wrap around the arm, and a backpack that looks like ShellieMay is riding on your back.

The collection will be available at McDuck’s Department Store, with some goods (like plush badges) also available via the Tokyo Disney Resort App (a valid park ticket for Tokyo DisneySea is required).

Special Menu and Souvenirs

Cape Cod Cook-Off will offer a sweet and tangy sparkling cranberry drink – perfect for a refreshing pick-me-up during the event. Over at Miguel’s El Dorado Cantina, guests can find exclusive food souvenirs themed to Duffy & Friends’ Wishing Wings, including a sweet potato dessert served in a souvenir cup, and a caramel and pear mousse cake paired with a souvenir plate

Hotel Offerings

At Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta, the Chinese restaurant Silk Road Garden will offer a special Cantonese lunch featuring a lineup of delicious dishes and desserts inspired by the story. A special drink made with blackcurrant syrup, herbal tea, and cider will also be available during lunch hours.

Disney Resort Line

For a limited time, Duffy & Friends “Wishing Wings” free tickets will be available from ticket machines at Disney Resort Line stations, featuring exclusive themed artwork.
