Tokyo Disney Resort has announced a special summer-themed Duffy & Friends event featuring merchandise and special menu items. Tasty Summer Surprises takes place from June 16th (Thursday) to September 7th (Wednesday) at Tokyo DisneySea.

Tasty Summer Surprises
The Duffy & Friends Tasty Summer Surprise event is themed around Duffy and his friends enjoying a relaxing time drinking refreshing juice in the hot summer. Tokyo Disney Resort has provided a story for the event;
Cookie Ann woke up in the shining sunlight.
Kunkun while bathing in the morning sun.
“It’s the scent of summer. Oh, I’ve thought about it!”
Cookie Ann visited Cape Cod with colourful fruits to encourage everyone to enjoy the hot summer.“Orange with kiwi and a little lemon in it …”
Cookie Ann’s special juice is ready.
“Wow, beautiful colours! It’s like a sunflower.”
Sherry May decorated the glass with a small sunflower.
“Is it possible to make juice like that blue sky?”
Duffy also inflates his imagination. Trees and birds began to play the summer melody asOl Mel played a cool sound on the ice. Duffy and his friends listen to natural music while drinking cold juice. We all had a refreshing summer day.
Duffy & Friends “Tasty Summer Surprise” Story
Merchandise
It isn’t a Duffy special event without brand new merchandise. Duffy & Friends Tasty Summer Surprises merchandise will be available for purchase exclusively through the Official Tokyo Disney Resort App, from June 16, 2022, with a small number of items available at McDuck’s Department Store.
Pro tip: Convert Japanese Yen prices into US dollars by dropping the last two digits in the price in yen. Example: ¥2,000 (or sometimes written 2,000円) is about US$20. That’s roughly how much it is in US dollars (give or take a few dollars).
Special Menus
A limited number of food items and collectables will be available for purchase at Cape Cod Cook-Off. Special menu items feature Duffy, Sherry May, and Ol Mel enjoying their summer days. Collectable souvenirs include limited design tumblers, coasters and lunch cases. A number of special drinks and special menus will also be offered at Hotel MiraCosta during the event.
