Shanghai Disney Resort is set to sparkle like never before with the arrival of the Disney Winter Frostival. Throughout the season, the resort transforms into a glittering winter wonderland, filled with enchanting décor, seasonal treats, festive shows, character greetings and exclusive merchandise.
Disney Winter Frostival runs from November 7, 2025, to March 3, 2026, with Christmas celebrations adding extra magic from November 21, 2025, through January 3, 2026.

Festive Winter Decor
This year, Mickey Avenue and the Gardens of Imagination debut all-new snow statues inspired by Mickey, Minnie, and their friends. Minnie’s polka-dot bow, Donald’s sailor hat, and other signature touches bring the snowmen to life. Guests can also spot Zootopia-inspired snow characters, icy sculptures, and a brand-new winter social wall perfect for festive photos with Duffy and Friends.
During the winter event, Mickey’s Snow Magic blankets Mickey Avenue in sparkling snowfall. Meanwhile, the A Celebration of Disney Winter Frostival projection show transforms the Enchanted Storybook Castle and Gardens of Imagination with dazzling lights and festive music.
Limited-Time Entertainment
The celebration continues with the guest-favorite Disney Winter Magic Cavalcade, featuring dazzling floats and popular Disney friends in enchanting winter outfits, including Nick and Judy from Zootopia.
The Mickey’s Magical Tree Lighting Ceremony brings Mickey, Minnie, Duffy, and LinaBell together with a live band to mark this special moment. Fans can also enjoy returning favourites, including Happy Holidays, Mickey!, Christmas Swing, and Mickey Avenue Carolers. The limited-time Christmas offerings will be presented from November 21, 2025, through January 3, 2026.
Character Greetings
Guests can also enjoy meet with a host of beloved Disney friends. Disney Queens, Princesses, and Princes from the Disney Winter Magic Cavalcade will be ready to meet visitors at Castle Encounters in their winter outfits. Meanwhile, Winnie the Pooh and friends are decked out in new winter fashions.
Festive Food and Drink
Shanghai Disney Resort is serving up plenty of cozy treats for the Christmas season designed for eating while exploring the park, including Christmas-themed donuts, cookies, and muffins. Those looking for a hearty meal will enjoy seasonal favourites like Duck Leg in Turnip Sour Soup. Additionally, Royal Banquet Hall and Aurora at Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, a selection of winter dishes.
Limited-Time Merchandise
It’s not a special event without merchandise! Shanghai Disney Resort will offer exclusive winter collections, including the Mickey and Friends Christmas Waltz Collection and Duffy and Friends Snowy Pals Collection, featuring cozy jackets, scarves, hats, and plushies. Guests can also find themed items inspired by Stitch, Angel, Winnie the Pooh, and Zootopia. More to come!
Other Seasonal Highlights
Mickey and Minnie’s Birthday (Nov 12–18): Guests can join a week-long birthday celebration with special outfits, live performances, castle projections, and fireworks, ending in a grand finale on November 18.
New Year Festivities (Dec 31–Jan 1): Ring in 2026 with Mickey and Friends along Mickey Avenue and the special castle show “Ignite the New Year”, featuring special projections and stunning fireworks.
