The Pokémon Company has announced new menu items at its official Pokémon Cafes in Osaka and Tokyo, themed to the story of Pikachu and the friends of the forest. Let’s take a look at the menu!

The new “Mori no Kurimono ~ The Story of Pokemon in a Forest” set menu will debut on June 18th (Saturday). The set meal along with placemats and coasters, tells the story of Pikachu and Celebi and their adventures getting lost in a forest. Accompanying the delicious set meal is a line of merchandise and other collectables themed to the forest adventure.

The Mori no Kurimono set consists of a Pikachu themed dish with a two-colour gratin with meat sauce and basil sauce, served with leafy greens. The set also includes an apple-flavoured fruit smoothie.

The luncheon mats at the Pokemon Cafe are also designed to continue the story of Pikachu’s adventures in the forest with Celebi and friends. There are two types of mat designs, which are assigned at random.

Additionally, the set menu comes with one of three Pokemon Cafe original clear drink coasters, featuring images of Pikachu and friends enjoying meal time while in the forest. You cannot choose the pattern.
Want to continue your Pokemon Forest experience at home? On June 18th (Saturday), Pokemon Cafe will release “Mori no Kurimono”, goods themed to the wonderful encounter between Pikachu and the friends of the forest. Let’s check out some of the merchandise which will be available at the cafe!
Pokémon Café requires advance reservations. Reservations are made online and are in English. You’re able to make your reservations for the Tokyo store here or the Osaka store here. The reservations open one month in advance and you’re able to reserve for 1 to 8 people.
