Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is getting ready to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a year-long event, The Most Magical Party of All, officially beginning on June 28! Ahead of the celebration, a special 20th Anniversary Magical Red Carpet Party was held on April 17, where guests were surprised with an early look at several of the floats from the upcoming Friendtastic Parade—a fun preview of the magic in store.
The brand-new daytime Friendtastic Parade is set to be Hong Kong Disneyland’s biggest parade to date! The 30-minute parade will feature 11 exciting floats featuring over 30 popular Disney characters, including Mickey and Friends, alongside troops of over 100 dancers adorned in vivid costumes.
The parade will feature four original songs alongside songs from your favourite Disney and Pixar stories. Featured films include Zootopia, Big Hero 6, Encanto, Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Turning Red, Inside Out, and Up. Fans can also look forward to appearances by Duffy and Friends and the Disney Princesses.
Red Panda Mei from Turning Red, Isabela from Encanto, and Officer Clawhauser from Zootopia will all debut at Hong Kong Disneyland as part of the all-new Friendtastic Parade! The Madrigal family from Disney Animation’s Oscar-winning Encanto will also join the lineup for the first time. Their float will bring Casa Madrigal to life with dancing tiles, glowing doors, and fluttering shutters.
