Gachapon Store Opens at Tokyo Disney Resort

We’ve seen many new shops and restaurants open inside Ikspiari at Tokyo Disney Resort in the last year. There’s been no shortage of changes from another Saizeriya location to Daiso to McDonald’s.

The mall Ikspiari is the Resort’s version of Disneytown, Disney Village, Disney Springs, or Downtown Disney at other Disney Resorts worldwide.

On December 15, 2021, a new Gachapon shop opened on the 2nd floor of Ikspiari. To find the store, walk by the Disney Store, past Guzman y Gomez, and Cinema Ikspiari.

Let’s take a look inside!

#C-Pla Capsule Toy Shop

Before we start, a quick explanation of what “gachapon” means. Gachapon are small random toys or figures for 200-500 yen (or more) from a capsule machine. These machines are great ways to get rid of your 100 yen coins and get some fun souvenirs!

It’s an absolute delight to see what you’ll find and half the fun! You’ll find tons of collaborations from the most popular franchises, such as Harry Potter, Demon Slayer, Nintendo, and of course, Disney. You’ll even find the most bizarre things, like animal figures with prominent chins.

Sadly, this shop itself doesn’t carry any Disney gachapon. The Disney gachapon is exclusive to the Disney Store on the same floor as the #C-Pla shop.

Anyway, let’s take a look inside the shop at the gachapon you’ll find here!
