The Oriental Land Company has announced the details of this year’s Summer Festival event at Tokyo Disney Resort’s shopping and entertainment district, Ikspiari. Beginning July 21, 2016, enjoy a wide assortment of interactive shows, workshops, and activities including :

• Cool down with the Splash Challenge! Located in the main plaza area, you can get drenched with cool water when you press the splash button.
• Roaming “Mist Men” will be walking around Ikspiari with mist sprays in a fun way to combat overheating.
• The Ikspiari Craft Beer Garden opens in July and features award-winning craft beers brewed on site.
• Numerous activities around Ikspiari including miniature model making, food sample making, television announcer workshop, and a backstage tour of Cinema Ikspiari.

There will also be shows on the main plaza area’s Ikspiari Performers Stage, including :

• The DANCE SQUARE troupe dance show themed to festivals around the world.  Look out for surprise water elements.
• JCDA Cheer Dance Festival will feature 140 teams and a grand total of 1,900 cheerleaders.
• Ghostbusters Premier Event celebrating the opening of the new Ghostbusters movie. Guests will be able to join 100 performers in the special performance with surprise water elements.
• World Festival Stage featuring an eclectic mix of international festivals including samba and hula. Samba dancers from Brazil have been guest performers in the past.
