Universal Studios Japan is gearing up for a frightfully fun celebration with the return of its annual Halloween Horror Nights, packed with haunted mazes, creepy thrills, and spine-chilling entertainment. But it’s not all screams – little ghouls and goblins can also join the fun too at the family-friendly Hahaha! Halloween Party, featuring characters dressed in adorable Halloween costumes!
“Hahaha! Halloween Party” will be offered from September 4 through November 3, 2025.

Pokémon Unstoppable Halloween Party
The popular Pokemon Jumpin’ Halloween Party show will return better than ever as Pokémon Unstoppable Halloween Party. Held at Gramercy Park, this high-energy show invites young guests to dance along to electrifying hard rock and dance beats by DECO*27, with special appearances by DJ Gengar, DJ Pikachu, Mimikyu, Jigglypuff, and Misty.
Universal Wonderland Fun Fun Music
At Universal Wonderland: Let’s Rock Together!, youngsters can dance up a storm to rock music with The Peanuts, Sesame Street, and Hello Kitty and more dressed in adorable Halloween costumes.
Minion Monsters Greeting
At the Minion Monsters Greeting, guests can meet and take photos with the ever-popular Minions dressed in their cute Halloween costumes.
Trick or Treat in the Park
Elementary school students and younger can approach crew members and say “trick or treat” to receive Halloween candy! Trick or treating is available park-wide (excluding The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Super Nintendo World. from park opening to 5:00 PM.

Getting around Japan by the world-renowned bullet train, known as the Shinkansen, is incredibly fast, reliable, and affordable for visitors. You can travel from Tokyo to Osaka in just over 2 hours. Get the JR Rail Pass to save a ton of money on the bullet train for your trip.

Universal Studios Japan has affordable accommodations that are steps away from the park and have easy access to Osaka. I recommend checking prices through Booking.com followed by the hotels directly. Sometimes, you’re able to score some incredible deals. Here’s a short list of hotels at Universal Studios Japan I recommend.
- The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan – You’re directly in front of the Park gates and have instant access to Universal CityWalk Osaka. The rooms are gorgeous, with restaurants and even a Lawson (Japanese convenience store).
