The Dutch-inspired theme park, Huis Ten Bosch in Nagasaki, is going all out for Halloween 2025 with a month-long celebration running from October 3 to November 3, 2025. Guests can look forward to two very different sides of the season: an adorable Miffy-themed Halloween during the day and a spine-tingling horror event at night.
The highlight for families is the Miffy Halloween Party Parade, where Miffy and Melanie ride on colourful floats decorated with candy and pumpkins. For the first time, the floats will stop in the Amsterdam area, giving guests the chance to receive Miffy-designed candy as part of a trick-or-treat experience. The parade will be presented twice daily at 11:00 and 16:00.
Over at Miffy Wonder Square, guests can meet the mischievous Ghost Miffy. Photo opportunities are available in this Bruna-inspired setting at 13:00 and 14:00 each day.
The fun continues with the Trick or Treat Special Rally, where visitors can pick up an exclusive Miffy basket and collect sweets from six participating shops across the park. Each piece of candy comes in a Miffy design unique to Huis Ten Bosch.
Once the sun sets, the cheerful atmosphere shifts to full-blown horror with Haunted Halloween at Palace Huis Ten Bosch. Guests will encounter “messengers of darkness” lurking in the Horror Garden, ready to jump out when least expected. The night also features the high-energy Haunted Dance Night Show, where the dark messengers break into a wild performance. New this year is the terrifying Mad Madame, a ruthless witch summoned by the infamous Killer J. Haunted Halloween runs from 6:00 PM
*Haunted Halloween is not held on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
