After a sell-out debut in 2024, Universal Studios Japan’s most extreme seasonal event, Halloween Horror Night – All Night, is back for one night only. Running from 10:00 pm until 5:00 am, on October 31st, the event will pack in non-stop scares with new shows, fan-favourite thrills, and exclusive surprises that will keep guests screaming and dancing until sunrise
On this one-night-only event, the entire park transforms after dark into an immersive world of horror and chaos. Guests can enjoy Halloween Horror Nights staples, like:
- Street Zombie – Expect more violent, terrifying zombies than last year, swarming the park and creating pure mayhem.
- Zombie de Dance – A completely reimagined version featuring SO BAD, an all-new original song created in collaboration with King Gnu, marking their first-ever tie-up with Universal Studios Japan.
- Special Show at WaterWorld – A brand-new performance exclusive to this night. (Entry is limited and will be determined by lottery.)
Every guest will also receive a limited “Street Zombie” badge, a collector’s item only available during this year’s Halloween Horror Night – All Night.

Ticket Information
Two ticket types are available, both offering entry from 3:00 pm and access to the event from 10:00 pm until 5:00 am.
- Halloween Horror Nights – All Night Pass with Super Nintendo World™ admission
- Price: ¥17,000
- Includes guaranteed entry to Super Nintendo World.
- Halloween Horror Night – All Night Pass
- Price: ¥14,000
Tickets for the event will be sold exclusively through Lawson Ticket (WEB). Tickets are limited, and last year’s event sold out almost instantly. Guests must be aged 18 or older to attend.
- Lottery application period: August 31 – September 8, 2025
- General sales: September 19 – October 19, 2025 (or until sold out)

Getting around Japan by the world-renowned bullet train, known as the Shinkansen, is incredibly fast, reliable, and affordable for visitors. You can travel from Tokyo to Osaka in just over 2 hours. Get the JR Rail Pass to save a ton of money on the bullet train for your trip.
Book Your Hotel
Universal Studios Japan has affordable accommodations that are steps away from the park and have easy access to Osaka. I recommend checking prices through Booking.com followed by the hotels directly. Sometimes, you’re able to score some incredible deals. Here’s a short list of hotels at Universal Studios Japan I recommend.
- The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan – You’re directly in front of the Park gates and have instant access to Universal CityWalk Osaka. The rooms are gorgeous, with restaurants and even a Lawson (Japanese convenience store).
- The Singulari HOTEL & SKYSPA – Attached to the train station is a fantastic hotel for those who want a comfortable, clean, and stylish place to sleep. After a long day at Universal Studios Japan, the rooftop sento (public bath) is excellent for unwinding and relaxing.

Universal Studios Japan only offers free Wi-Fi at the park’s entrance. That’s not enough to stay connected and share your day with everyone back home on Instagram to give them FOMO. Here’s how you can stay connected while travelling in Japan.
