Tomorrowland at Hong Kong Disneyland has undergone a transformation in recent years with the introduction ‘Stark Expo’ the Hong Kong campus of The Avengers. The ever-expanding Marvel mini-land, currently home to the Iron Man Experience, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! will soon feature an exciting new Avengers attraction, exclusive to Hong Kong Disneyland.
Disney Parks revealed new details about the yet-unnamed Avengers attraction during the D23 Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim on September 15, 2026. While the attaction’s name or opening date was not announced, Disney unveiled all-new concept artwork, giving us an insight into the exciting new addition to Stark Expo!
Newly released concept art shows Thor, Black Panther and Spider-Man springing into action as riders plummet in free fall in an elevator-style ride vehicle. Doctor Strange also appears, opening a portal to Asgard in the middle of the chaos. The ride will see guests plummeting 120 feet while travelling between Asgard and Wakanda by Sling Ring.
Disney Parks also released new artwork showcasing the futuristic exterior of the Avengers Research Testing Labs, a high-tech facility that will serve as the centerpiece of the Stark Expo. Transforming the skyline of Tomorrowland’s Stark Expo, the building features sleek, Stark-inspired architecture showcasing advanced technology and dramatic lighting once the sun sets.
Guests at the D23 Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event were able to get an up-close look at an impressive scale model of the Avengers Research Testing Lab and Stark Expo. The model showcases the sheer scale of the new building, which will tower over the surrounding land.
The model and newly revealed concept art also offer a closer look at the full-size Quinjet, which will be positioned on an elevated launch platform where Avengers characters will appear.
The yet-unnamed attraction will become Disney’s second Marvel-themed Tower of Terror-style drop ride, following the opening of Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout! at Disney California Adventure in 2017. The attraction marks the third major instalment in Hong Kong Disneyland’s Marvel-themed area in Tomorrowland, following Iron Man Experience in 2017 and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! in 2019.
