50% Off Hong Kong Disneyland Hotels for Black Friday

Hong Kong Disneyland is having a Black Friday sale for all their hotels. You’re able to save up to 50% off at all three of their hotels right at the Resort! Staying at one of the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotels is the best way to experience this wonderful Park. Plan your trip to Hong Kong Disneyland with our extensive travel guide.

I’ll explain the Black Friday Sale but also give you example prices and how to choose which hotel is best for you. Let me do all the hard work for you, it’s what I’m here for!

Black Friday Sale

Disney's Hollywood Hotel

The cheapest rooms are at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel starting at $115 a night!

The sale is on now until December 6, 2019. These are fantastic rates and you’d be silly not to take advantage of them if you’re going to be in Hong Kong! I’ve done the Kingdom Club Rooms before and it’s definitely worth it even without the 40% off discount. We’ve been in the normal Kingdom Club Rooms at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel (I paid for this myself) and also the themed Kingdom Club Rooms for Frozen and Cinderella.

Book a Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel Now

Staying at one of the Standard or Sea View Rooms is just as good, especially at that price! If you’re unsure which hotel to choose, let me make it easy for you, go with the Disney Explorers Lodge. It’s hands down my favourite Disney Hotel anywhere.

March and April are excellent times to visit in terms of weather. While it’s still quite hot it’s nowhere near as bad from May through September. Once you get into May, the humidity picks up and doesn’t let up until October sometime. I talk more about this in our guide to Hong Kong Disneyland.

Next, I’ll show you some sample prices to give you an idea of room prices with the sale. When you load the hotel details page with prices, you’ll need to scroll left to see the “Black Friday Hotel Flash Sale” option to the left of the “45 Days Advance Purchase Room Offer.”

Disney Explorer’s Lodge

Disney Explorers Lodge Beds

Disney Explorer’s Lodge is my favourite Disney Hotel and is my top choice for a hotel. Read my full review here and I also have a full room tour below.

Sea View Room

  • Dates: April 1st – 3rd, 2020 (2-nights)
  • Discount Price (50%): HKD$1,050 (US$135) per night
  • Regular Price: HKD$2,100 (US$270) per night

Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel

Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel Beds

Similar to the Grand Floridian with it’s Victorian-style, this luxurious hotel is perfect if you’re looking to splurge and pamper yourself. The Kingdom Club Room is absolutely worth it because of the access to the lounge that has food and drink, but more importantly an exclusive Meet and Greets with a random Disney character in their Pajamas! In the past, I’ve met Mickey, Minnie, and Duffy. Donald also makes an appearance.

Sea View Room

  • Dates: April 1st – 3rd, 2020 (2-nights)
  • Discount Price (50%): HKD$1,200 (US$150) per night
  • Regular Price: HKD$2,400 (US$305) per night

Kingdom Club Room

  • Dates: December 1st – 2nd, 2019 (1-night)
  • Discount Price (40%): HKD$3,000 (US$380) per night
  • Normal Price: HKD$5,000 (US$640) per night

This sale doesn’t include Frozen, Cinderella, or Kingdom Club Suites, unfortunately.

Disney’s Hollywood Hotel

Disney's Hollywood Hotel Beds

If you’re on a budget but want to stay close to the action then Disney’s Hollywood Hotel suits those needs. This is the cheapest hotel at the Resort and is also the furthest from the Park. No worries though, the free shuttle bus gets you to the Park quickly.

Sea View Room

  • Dates: April 1st – 3rd, 2020 (2-nights)
  • Discount Price (50%): HKD$900 (US$115) per night
  • Regular Price: HKD$1,800 (US$230) per night

Sea View vs. Standard Room

Sea View Disney Explorers Lodge

The difference between the sea view and the standard room is the view. The standard room has views of the landscape or gardens (usually facing the Park but you can’t see the Park). The sea view rooms, if you can’t tell by the name, has a view of the ocean, which is the nicer view and more expensive.

Which Hotel Do I Book?

Disney Explorers Lodge Entrance

My recommendation is the Disney Explorers Lodge

I’ll break it down for you:

  • Best Overall Experience: Disney Explorer’s Lodge (I’m biased if you can’t tell)
  • Budget Stay: Disney’s Hollywood Hotel
  • Splurge: Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel

You won’t go wrong with any of these hotel options, they’re all excellent. It just depends on your needs and budget.

Hotel Character Greetings

There’s a variety of characters to meet at each of the hotels, so you can’t go wrong with the one you choose.

Hi there! How often do you see major savings like this come around? We aren’t going until later in 2020 so this deal won’t work for us but I might hold off booking if something else might come along.
