Christmas is returning to Hong Kong Disneyland, with Disney Christmas bringing festive entertainment, character greetings, seasonal experiences and more to the park from November 20, 2026, through January 3, 2027.
This year’s celebration will see World of Frozen receive a new festive experience featuring Olaf and a brand-new Winter Market. There are also returning favourites including the Holiday Wish Come True Tree Lighting Ceremony and Disney Christmas Live in Concert!, along with a new daytime castle show for the Christmas season.
The best bit? Unlike Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Walt Disney World, you don’t need a special ticket. All the holiday fun is included with your regular park admission. Here’s what you can look forward to at Hong Kong Disneyland this Christmas season!

Celebrate Christmas at World of Frozen
World of Frozen will once again transform into a festive version of Arendelle for the Christmas season, with holiday decorations, festive music and magical falling snow creating a winter atmosphere throughout the land.
Dressed in their royal winter attire, Anna and Elsa will welcome guests as part of a special winter celebration, while Olaf – who is looking forward to the holiday season more than anyone else – will make a special appearance throughout the holiday season.
Guests may also encounter Kristoff preparing a Sven-tastic ice sculpture for Sven in“Kristoff’s Sven-Tastic Surprise”
A new Winter Market will debut in World of Frozen this Christmas. The market will showcase Arendelle’s winter traditions, with handcrafted items, holiday-themed food and festive surprises.
The holiday experience at World of Frozen will continue beyond Christmas. From January 5, 2027, Arendelle will introduce its first-ever Winter Fest, featuring Olaf and new storytelling experiences.

A new Christmas show will debut in front of the Castle of Magical Dreams this year, with Mickey and Minnie hosting a festive party filled with music and laughter. Stitch will also join the celebration for a playful surprise. More information to come!

New Year’s Eve Countdown
Hong Kong Disneyland will welcome 2027 with a special New Year’s Eve Countdown experience. Guests can join Mickey and Friends in front of the Castle of Magical Dreams for the countdown to the new year.
Disney Premier Access will also be available for New Year’s Eve, with an offering that includes designated viewing areas for Momentus and the New Year’s Eve Countdown, as well as priority access to selected attractions and shows.
Tickets and packages for the New Year’s Eve Countdown will go on sale from September 28, 2026.
Character Greetings
Disney characters will be celebrating the holiday season throughout Hong Kong Disneyland. Mickey & Friends, Duffy & Friends, Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Winnie the Pooh and his friends, along with other Disney characters, will appear in festive holiday attire and greet guests around the park.
Meanwhile at Duffy & Friends Playhouse, the ever-popular Duffy and Friends will be on hands to meet guests dressed in cosy winter attire. While Duffy and Friends Play House is open to all guests, it usually generates huge wait times – we’d recommend grabbing a Disney Premier Access for this one!
Hotel Offers
Guests planning a longer Christmas trip can take advantage of a special hotel offer at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. Guests who book two or more consecutive nights at a Hong Kong Disneyland Resort hotel can receive 30% off the flexible rate.
The resort has not yet announced specific Christmas-themed hotel room offerings or in-room party packs for 2026. We’ll be sure to update you once more information is available!
