Tokyo DisneySea opened its gate to guests on September 4th, 2001. The most ambitious Disney project at the time. Videos of new shows and from the past few years, are relatively easy to find on places like YouTube. But, finding a documentary in English is rare.
A documentary created by the Travel Channel, back when the park first opened, takes a look at this unique theme park. From how this theme park came to fruition, to the challenges the Oriental Land Company (the company who owns Tokyo Disney Resort) faced.
Before we look to the future of Tokyo DisneySea, lets take a moment and take a look back at how it all began.
