Ikspiari Reopening on June 1, 2020, at Tokyo Disney Resort

Update: See photos from Ikspiari as it reopens.

Tokyo Disney Resort has been closed since February 29, 2020, due to the worldwide pandemic. This included Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea, the Tokyo Disney Resort Hotels, and Ikspiari (the Resort’s version of Disney Springs).

Ikspiari has announced that it is reopening on June 1, 2020, with safety measures put in place. The business hours are 11:00 to 19:00 with limited capacity. Guests may have to wait for entrance into the area. Cinema Ikspiari ticket booths are open from 11:00 to 18:30 with no late showings.

The Disney Store in Ikspiari will reopen on June 2, 2020, with hours from 11:00 to 19:00.

Along with that, the Tokyo Disney Resort Ticket Center will remain closed until further notice.

Guests will have their temperatures taken and anyone with a temperature of 37.5°C degrees or higher won’t be allowed into Ikspiari.

This is an excellent sign for the reopening of Tokyo Disney Resort. There’s no word on when Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea, Bon Voyage, or the Disney Hotels will reopen.

The announcement comes after the Japanese government lifted the state of emergency for all prefectures on May 25, 2020.
