One of my biggest complaints about Ikspirai at Tokyo Disney Resort was its lack of fast food options for those Explorers who needed something quick. While there are plenty of restaurants for sit-down and a small selection of “fast food,” it’s always been missing the big franchises we associate with theme parks, like McDonald’s. While there is a food court, the selection is subpar at best. Even Universal Studios Japan has a McDonald’s!
That all changes at the end on 21 December 2021 when McDonald’s opens a new location inside Ikspiari, where the former Tokyo Disney Resort Ticket Center was on the first floor (see map below). This new McDonald’s offers McCafe, free wi-fi, USB charging ports, and another option for food! McDonald’s Japan even has mobile ordering if you’re in a rush (although it’s not clear if this location offers mobile ordering). The restaurant will seat 159 patrons.
While there are tons of options for food, such as Ippudo Ramen, Guzman y Gomez, Chubby Airlines, Kua Aina, two Starbucks locations, and others, it’s nice to have different options for those who want something quick and easy.
