This will be the first update that Mickey’s PhilharMagic’s film has received since it debuted in 2011. The attraction, which is currently closed for refurbishment is also set to receive upgraded digital projection equipment, sure to make the bright and colourful Coco scenes truly pop off the attraction’s 150-foot-wide, 180-degree seamless wraparound screen.

The addition of the new “Coco” scene at Tokyo Disneyland follows the inclusion of Coco at Disneyland Park, Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Paris, where the attraction was updated to include the song “Un Poco Loco” from the film. The update marks the first time Disney and Pixar animators have worked on a creative endeavour where characters from both animation studios will be seen together on screen.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic is a 12-minute 4D theatre-type attraction found in Fantasyland at Tokyo Disneyland. The popular attraction features Donald Duck as he Mickey’s Sorcerer’s Hat as he is swept into a 3D dream world of classic Disney animated movies, including Beauty and Beast, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid. “Remember Me” won Best Original Song at the 90th Academy Awards in 2018.
