Tokyo Disney Resort is expanding its Circulating Smiles collection – a line of environmentally friendly merchandise made from recycled materials collected throughout the parks. The expanded collection features items using upcycled materials from “Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters,” “Big Thunder Mountain,” and the Winnie the Pooh Corner Shop at Tokyo Disneyland.

The upcycling initiative is part of Oriental Land Company’s ongoing commitment to reducing its environmental impact. The products are crafted from a variety of reused materials, including PET plastic bottles, organic cotton, used coffee grounds, and even old cast member costumes.

The newest additions to the collection feature items made from retired cast member uniforms. Eagle-eyed fans will spot a shoulder bag created from the pants worn by cast members at “Big Thunder Mountain”, a tote bag made from CM jackets from the defunct “Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters,” and a fashionable pouch from cast member costumes at the Winnie the Pooh Corner shop.
The collection launches December 4th and will be sold exclusively through the Tokyo Disney Resort app.
