New Year’s 2017 Merchandise & Food at Tokyo Disney Resort

Select New Year’s 2017 merchandise goes on sale November 18, 2016, at select stores in Tokyo Disneyland & Tokyo DisneySea. Food items start December 26, 2016, until January 5, 2017. This year is themed to Donald Duck to celebrate the Year of the Rooster! Let’s take a look at all the adorable merchandise ready to take your money!

New Year’s Merchandise

For the Donald Duck fans, this is the perfect opportunity to buy items with him in traditional Japanese clothing—along with Mickey and Minnie. The designs are beautiful and other items feature traditional Japanese New Year’s Greeting Cards and decorations. If you’re in the need for a unique gift, this is the perfect time of year to do so.

On sale starting November 18, 2016, at Grand Emporium at Tokyo Disneyland and Emporio at Tokyo DisneySea. Tomica toys are on sale starting December 26, 2016.

New Year’s Omiyage (Souvenir)

It’s a Japanese custom to buy omiyage during a trip to bring back for your coworkers, classmates, friends, and family. Available December 1, 2016, at the World Bazaar Confectionary in Tokyo Disneyland and Valentina’s Sweets in Tokyo DisneySea.

New Year’s Food

Take home a souvenir cup and use it for tea with a beautiful design or enjoy a warm red bean soup with a cute wafer with Donald on it! These items start December 26, 2016, until January 5, 2017 (unless otherwise stated).
