Nintendo is gearing up to open its first official store in Kyoto! The new official store will be located in the same city as Nintendo’s headquarters. The Nintendo KYOTO store will mark the third directly managed official Nintendo store in Japan. The store will have its grand opening on October 17th.
Located on the 7th floor of Kyoto Takashimaya SC, Nintendo KYOTO will offer a large range of Nintendo products, including game consoles, software, and an extensive collection of character merchandise. The store will also offer goods exclusive to the Kyoto store, themed to popular Nintendo franchises including “Super Mario,” “Animal Crossing,” “The Legend of Zelda,” “Splatoon,” and “Pikmin.”
The Nintendo Kyoto store will host a variety of gaming experiences and various events throughout the year. The first official Nintendo store in Japan opened in November 2019 at Shibuya Parco in Tokyo, while the second Nintendo store opened in Osaka in November 2022 at Daimaru Umeda.
