Universal Studios Japan’s popular One Piece Premier Summer is returning for the 2026 season. Running from July 30 to November 19, 2026, the annual celebration of the hit anime and manga series brings back exclusive live entertainment, limited-time attractions and, of course, a selection of themed food and drinks inspired by the world of One Piece.
From grab-and-go snacks to an immersive, story-driven dining experience alongside the Straw Hat Crew, One Piece fans will find plenty of delicious ways to celebrate the beloved anime series. Let’s take a look what is on offer!
Straw Hat Crew Banquet Restaurant
The fan-favourite Straw Hat Crew’s Feast Restaurant returns to Discovery Restaurant, once again transforming the venue into a lively festival celebrating the Straw Hat Crew and the Heart Pirates.
This year’s themed menu includes Luffy’s Beef & Sausage Burger Set, loaded with his favourite meat, alongside Law’s Chicken & Curry Rice Burger Set, inspired by his love of rice balls. Guests can also indulge in a playful dessert shaped like a perfectly grilled chunk of meat, plus the glowing “It’s a Festival! Cheers! Glowing! Drink Cup”, available in Luffy and Law designs.

Eating On The Go
Guests can also cool off with a variety of One Piece-themed snacks, sweets and refreshing drinks available throughout the park. Head to the Lombard’s Landing terrace, Fossil Fuels and the One Piece Food Cart for limited-time treats inspired by the Straw Hat Pirates, perfect for enjoying on the go.

Sanji’s Pirate Restaurant
Sanji’s Pirate Restaurant is back again at Lombard’s Landing, continuing its story-driven dining format. This year’s story sees Sanji opening his restaurant to guests while familiar faces including Luffy, Zoro, and Buggy create chaos throughout the venue. Universal also teases the appearance of a mysterious character investigating a sinister plot unfolding behind the scenes.
The dining experience continues to focus on Sanji’s signature hospitality and French-inspired cuisine, with character interactions taking place throughout the approximately 85-minute experience.
Unlike standard dining venues, entry is managed through a lottery-based reservation system. Guests must apply through the official website during the application period. Winners are selected at random and notified after the entry window closes, with separate pre-sales offered first to eligible annual pass holders before general lottery access becomes available.
Pricing is set at ¥7,000 for adults and ¥2,600 for children. Because seating is extremely limited and sessions operate on a rotation system, securing a reservation can be competitive, particularly during peak summer and weekend dates.

Universal Studios Japan has affordable accommodations that are steps away from the park and have easy access to Osaka. I recommend checking prices through Booking.com followed by the hotels directly. Sometimes, you’re able to score some incredible deals. Here’s a short list of hotels at Universal Studios Japan I recommend.
- The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan – You’re directly in front of the Park gates and have instant access to Universal CityWalk Osaka. The rooms are gorgeous, with restaurants and even a Lawson (Japanese convenience store).
