The runs are competitive, but the focus is definitely on the Disney experience, with runners cheered on by Pixar characters along the route, including Woody, Buzz, and pals from Toy Story, Mike and Sulley from Monsters, Inc., and the Incredibles.

Racers can also purchase exclusive merchandise, including pins, water bottle, and t-shirts.

The 10k Weekend follows last year’s Marvel 10K Weekend at Hong Disneyland, which saw over 10,000 participants take part, with Captain America and Spiderman cheering them on.

Registration is open now until August 28, 2018, and includes a T-shirt, medal with lanyard, A4 sticker (for Kids Races only), race bib, race bib pins, and e-certificate. Visit the Hong Kong Disneyland site for all the details.
