Sadly, it’s affected theme parks in Asia including Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park in Hong Kong. Followed by Shanghai Disney Resort in Mainland China.

In this episode, we discuss what this could mean for your trip. What to do. How to stay safe and more importantly, how to stay informed.

Read our updated information on the theme parks and the coronavirus.

Chris, Do you think the crowdforcast will be redone for Spring break 2020 now that coronavirus is spreading? We are planning to travel from USA to TDR on Spring Break week – the absolute busiest time in march. We are considering cancelling our trip but also wonder if the crowds are expected to be less than normal due to precautions?
I can’t remember if Chinese passport holders are banned from entering Japan at this time.

This is such unknown territory, so I wouldn’t expect the crowd calendars to reflect this as there’s no previous data on what’s currently happening. Don’t follow crowd calendars too close, use them as a general guideline. It’s going to be busy regardless since the vast majority of visitors to the Parks are locals. But, no one knows for sure. I could be completely wrong.
