Trish is totally correct about how Shanghai Disney does wear you down. Went in early July and between the temperatures, the crowds that push all the time in lines, wait times lengths (including the fasspass lines) and the people constantly jumping lines.
However, I will say in hindsight I do have great memories of the trip. Being one of the few Americans in the park and my two kids being the only caucasian kids was an experience. My kids were photographed secretly many times and we had lots of selfie shots too.
The cast was awesome, every time we approached a counter, a cast member seemed to come out for nowhere and ask if we needed help in wonderful English. They definitely go out of there way to cater to foreign, english speaking visitors.
