/

Tokyo DisneySea is celebrating its 20th anniversary until September 2022 with a special event. Well, we all know what’s been happening for the last year and a half. As a result, this led to a less-than-ideal celebration at Tokyo DisneySea for this milestone. We discuss the food, entertainment, decorations, and merchandise, to give you an idea of what it’s really like.

Really appreciated this episode Chris & Trish. As explorers stuck in Australia for the past two years we are pretty desperate to visit. We’ve booked flights for September ’22, but after listening to this episode have adjusted our expectations (and hopes) accordingly and will not expect a similar experience to our last trip in 2016 when TDS was celebrating the Year of Wishes. We visited HKDL during the riots in 2019 when it was described as the emptiest Disneyland on Earth, when a lot of things were closed and sad, so I guess we’ll expect an experience similar to that. A little Disney is better than none at all, and I like thinking that we’ll be contributing to the rebuilding process. Hoping to book at the Toy Story Hotel, so looking forward to your upcoming reviews.
