The wait is nearly over for fans of themed dining in Japan, with Pokémon Café TOKYO officially confirming its reopening date following its refurbishment. The café is set to welcome guests back from June 17th, marking its return with updated operations, revised menus, and a refreshed booking system.

New Business Hours and Reservations
Pokémon Café TOKYO will reopen its doors on 17 June 2026, following a temporary closure for a four month-long renovation. The venue remains closed until then, and the reopening date may still change depending on circumstances. From reopening day, the café will operate under updated hours:
- Opening hours: 10:30am – 9:00pm
- Last order: 8:30pm (food, sweets, and drinks)
- Reservations: Required for all visits
Bookings for the reopening period will open at 8:00 on 17 May 2026. This initial release covers visits from 17 June to 7 July 2026, with all seating reservations for this period made available at once. Further reservation details beyond 8 July 2026 will be announced later.
Menu Changes Coming with Reopening
A significant menu refresh will take place alongside the reopening. Several existing favourites will be removed from the menu on 7 June 2026, including items available at both Pokémon Café TOKYO and Pokémon Café OSAKA. A small number of items will also see price adjustments from reopening day.

- Select Pokémon latte options
- Pikachu and partner Pokémon curry plates
- Eevee colourful rice plate
- Snorlax-themed lunch plate
- Pikachu soufflé pancakes
- Monster Ball dessert bowl
- Various themed drinks and tea sets
