Fans of Pompompurin have a sweet reason to celebrate this year. To mark the beloved golden retriever’s 30th anniversary, a limited-time themed café called “Pompompurin’s Stay-at-Home Cafe” is popping up in Tokyo and Osaka. The café invites guests to “eat until you’re plump and full” with a menu packed with adorable dishes inspired by Pompompurin and his cosy world.

The café will pop up for a limited time from March 19th at three locations: Shibuya and Ikebukuro in Tokyo, and Umeda in Osaka. The cafés are designed around a relaxing stay-at-home theme, offering comforting meals, cute desserts, and exclusive merchandise featuring original artwork.
A Menu Inspired by Pompompurin
Highlights include the Munch Cheeseburger, served with fries and pickles – available in three stackable sizes, along with the Heartwarming Stew, a rich brown stew filled with vegetables, and the Buttocks Mark Keema Curry, inspired by Pompompurin’s signature little bottom peeking out from the grass.

Desserts are just as eye-catching. Guests can try Smiling Fruit Pancakes, topped with fruit, vanilla ice cream, and mango sauce, or Pompompurin a la mode, a pudding dessert shaped like Pompompurin. Themed drinks include Pompompurin Fruit Milk, Relaxing Hot Milk Tea, and Sleepy Happy Lemonade.
Guests who reserve in advance and order from the menu will receive an original A4 clear file as a bonus. There’s also a special “Pukupuku Manpuku Set” bonus. Order one food item, one dessert, and one drink, and you’ll receive an exclusive placemat featuring the event’s artwork.

Original Merchandise
The café will also offer original merchandise featuring the event’s exclusive designs. Items include acrylic keychains and stands, collectible tin badges, sticker sets, alongside placemats and coasters. Some items, including a drawstring bag and share plate, will release slightly later during the café’s run.

Event Details
Reservations are available through the café’s official website and require a ¥660 booking fee per person, which includes a reservation bonus. Up to four seats can be reserved per booking.
