Q-pot Debuts Q-Rooms Harajuku: A Whimsical Chocolate Hotel and Café Concept

The kawaii sweets accessory brand “Q-pot”, known in Japan for its whimsical dessert-inspired accessories, is set to unveil Q-Rooms Harajuku – a whimsical chocolate‑inspired hotel. Located in Tokyo’s Harajuku district, the lodging-meets-café concept is set to debut on Saturday, July 12, 2025.

With an exterior resembling a mysterious chocolate mansion, Q-Rooms Harajuku is not just a spot to sleep; guests can fully immerse themselves in the sweet world of Q-pot with a range of accommodation, dining and shopping experiences across nine distinct immersive rooms.

Accomodation

Q-Rooms Harajuku offer three uniquely themed concept rooms inspired by delicious chocolate. The bitter chocolate-inspired room is a chic and sophisticated space with luxurious furniture and features rich dark brown wallpaper and gold features inspired by bitter chocolate bars.

The Strawberry Chocolate Room offers a dreamy, immersive escape from the busy world. The elegantly sweet room is inspired by tasty chocolate with strawberries and whipped cream.

Featuring bunk beds, the Mint Chocolate Room is perfect for families and groups. The bright and comfortable room features mint-green furniture, clean designs and gold fixings.

Details about accommodation reservations for Q-Rooms Harajuku will be announced at noon on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, along with a link to the official booking site. Each room accommodates up to four guests, with prices starting from ¥88,000 per night (tax included).

Dining and More

In addition to the three luxurious concept rooms, Q-Rooms Harajuku features quirky dining venues, allowing guests and the public to fully immersive themselves in Q-Pots’ brand of delicious treats. The venue will be home to two premium flagship stores handled by Q-pot. designer Tadaaki Wakamatsu.

Room 3 will feature the mysterious fried sandwich shop Age.3×Q. Originating from Fukuoka, the whimsical space features chairs, tables, and even lamps that appear to float, hinting at the shop’s mysterious charm through every tilted element. The store will offer a large selection of delicious deep-fried sandwiches, including three flavours exclusive to Q-Rooms Harajuku.

In addition to delicious sandwiches, a limited range of Age.3×Q original goods will be available.

Room 2 will be home to Ghost Xiaolongbao by Fujishin Japan. Guests can dine on juicy Xiaolongbao crafted by skilled artisans using traditional methods originating from Dalian, China. The store will offer takeaway Xiaolongbao and meat buns in limited edition Obake-chan packaging, and a dine-in menu.

The store will also offer original T-shirts, bandanas, tote bags, and folding fans with the design of the Xiaolongbao ghost of Fujishin.

But that’s not all – Room 1 will be home to Q-pot CAFE. Lab Kitchen, offering delicious pastries! The quirky cafe offers magical sweets that go on to inspire Q-Pot’s unique line of dessert-themed goods.
