The eagerly awaited Fantasy Springs expansion at Tokyo DisneySea is scheduled to open its doors to visitors on June 6, 2024, ushering guests into the whimsical worlds of Peter Pan, Frozen and Tangled. In addition to the state-of-the-art Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey Attraction, guests can enjoy a meal fit for royalty at the Royal Banquet of Arendelle Restaurant.
Situated inside Arendelle Castle, guests can enjoy a meal at the Royal Banquet of Arendelle. The 570-seat counter service restaurant features three highly detailed indoor dining areas, including the Great Hall, where Elsa was coronated.
As guests enter the restaurant they will find a welcoming reception area with featuring rich, burgundy wallpaper decorated with a subtle pattern of the golden crocus flower from the kingdom’s official crest. The walls are adorned with tapestries of Anna and Elsa.
The ceiling of the entry hallway features wooden beams forming geometric patterns, painted in earthy tones with accents of green and red. Guests can enjoy framed landscapes of the ffjords of Arendelle.
Guests wishing to dine at Royal Banquet of Arendelle Restaurant are required to place their orders using Disney Mobile Order on the Tokyo Disney Resort app. After receiving a pickup time, they can enter the venue and collect their meal at a designated pick-up spot.
The counter-service pick up area features light green panelling with wooden trim and log cabin-style paneling. Prominently displayed on the left hand wall is a framed painting of a royal family picnic.
Guests will find the royal family’s royal china on display along with an array of cakes and sweet treats.
The restaurant features a number of distinct dining areas featuring rich decorative wallpapers. The below dining room features framed royal portraits of Queen Elsa and Anna.
The circular dining hall features high ceilings incorporating traditional Scandinavian asymmetrical architecture with geometric ceiling panelling and stained glass arched windows.
Guests dining in the gallery can enjoy many framed portraits of members of royal family members.
Proving how much he is loved by the royal sisters, a portrait of Olaf is displayed in a golden frame.
Of note, guests can find a portrait of Anna on a swing, inspired by The Swing by Jean-Honoré Fragonard.
Throughout the restaurant, guests will find portraits of the royal family, including King Agnarr’s coronation, family portraits, and lush landscapes of the kingdom of Arendelle.
The Great Hall is sure to be a popular choice for dining with it’s vast cathedral ceilings in hues of purple and pinks, with a golden crocus flower design. The Norwegian-inspired dining hall is rich in elements of Norwegian architectural design, including the “Dragestil” (dragon style) architectural style.
The Great Hall is features Coronation Chair where members of the royal family sit when they are invested with regalia and crowned at their coronations.
Guests can also opt to dine in an outdoor dining area with views of Arendelle’s fjord cliffs and mountains.
The counter service Royal Banquet of Arendelle restaurant will offer the Arendelle’s Royal Set, featuring Smoked salmon trout and orange salad, potato gratin, a choice of beef or lobster and red fish pie, bread, Olaf’s marshmallow cocoa mousse, and a choice of soft drink.
