Shanghai Disneyland Announces New Fall and Winter Pass


With Halloween and Christmas on the way, Shanghai Disneyland Resort has launched a new Fall and Winter Seasonal Pass. On sale from 3 September, the pass offers unlimited entry, with a few exceptions, until 25 January 2018. We have all the details for you!

Shanghai Disneyland Fall & Winter Seasonal Pass

The new seasonal pass is available in three tiers, each offering entry on different days; the “all day” pass grants access any day of the week, while the “Weekday” and “Sunday” passes allow entry on specific days. All the pass are valid from their purchase date until 25 January. Passes cannot be used on 2-7 October, which is the week of China’s National Day celebrations, and 31st December 2017.

In addition to unlimited entry, all the passes offer access to exclusive events, a 10% discount at resort hotels, 20% off park merchandise, as well as 20% off quick service restaurants and table service restaurants such as Royal Banquet Hall and Lumiere’s kitchen.

Although details are yet to be released, the announcement mentions the upcoming Halloween and Christmas seasonal events, which will include “tailored festive decorations, enchanting entertainment, holiday-themed celebration, special experiences and new offerings “.

An “all day” adult pass costs ¥1,390 CNY ($210 USD), with a child pass costing ¥1,045 CNY ($160 USD), there are also discounts available for previous pass holders, seniors and those with disabilities. With an adult one-day pass costing ¥499 CNY ($72 USD) and two upcoming seasonal events, the pass is an attractive offer for repeat visitors.

From 3-10 September the new pass will be available at discount prices on the Chinese ticket and travel site Fliggy.com.

Then from 11 September until the end of 2017, the pass will also be available at the Shanghai Disney Resort Reservation Center and the main entrance ticket booths, as well as on the resort’s official store on JD.com, WeChat and QQ accounts, and through the resort’s official travel providers, Ctrip and Dianping.
